Why does The Sound Alchemy Method begin with crystal singing bowls?
Because the crystal bowl is what changed my life. In a season when my anxiety was so loud I could not feel the ground beneath my own feet, it was the voice of a single crystal singing bowl that brought me home to my body — the first true quiet I had known in years.
I built this entire method on that moment.
There is something in a crystal bowl's resonance that reaches past thought and story and speaks straight to the nervous system. Played with real musical intention, these bowls do not simply sound beautiful — they return people to themselves. That is the power you will learn to hold in Level 1: not to play and hope, but to compose with the bowls, so what moves through the people in your care is genuine transformation.

WHAT LEVEL 1 GIVES YOU
A strong, confident foundation — with just a few instruments.
If you have trained before, you may have come away with beautiful philosophy and a deep love for this work — and still wondered how to actually compose and lead a bath that flows. That missing piece is the musical and facilitation framework, and it is exactly what Level 1 is built around: the part that makes your sound baths truly land.
Everything in Level 1 is devoted to one thing, done deeply: the musical foundations of composing a sound bath on crystal singing bowls. Because the crystal bowl is such a profound healing instrument, learning to truly compose with it — to move between bowls so they harmonize and flow — is the bedrock beneath every richer sound experience you will ever create.
You do not need a wall of instruments to create something powerful. You need to understand how the instruments you have relate to each other musically, and how to use them with intention, emotion, and flow. Level 1 gives you that understanding, with just a few bowls, so by the end you can lead a full crystal bowl sound bath from start to finish — with compositional flow, emotional intention, and genuine confidence.

Level 1 is for wellness practitioners, yoga teachers, therapists, bodyworkers, holistic coaches, and aspiring sound healers who feel called to hold space for others through sound. No music background required. No prerequisite certifications required. What you need is:

THE FORMAT
An intimate, guided cohort.
Level 1 unfolds over four months: a self-paced video curriculum you move through at your own rhythm, with twice-monthly live group coaching check-ins where you bring your questions, receive guidance, and refine what you are learning. Around it lives a compassionate community of fellow practitioners walking the path alongside you.
It is self-paced, but never solitary. You learn by doing, watching, and receiving feedback — with me and with the other students in your cohort — so you stay supported and steadily moving forward.
And this is only the beginning of the path. Level 1 gives you the crystal-bowl foundation — the musicianship at the heart of the method. Level 2 is where that foundation blooms into the fuller, multi-layered sound journey: many instruments, many textures, woven into a deeply immersive experience. But it all begins here, with the bowls — because this is where the real transformation lives.

Who is teaching this?
I am Zooey Seraphine — lifelong musician, sound journey artist, and trauma-informed practitioner. I have spent nearly a decade facilitating sound experiences for thousands of people, from intimate private sessions to large-scale international corporate wellness events. I am MBSR-certified, NLP-trained, and have created sound meditations for wellness and sleep apps including The Slumber App. I serve as Musical Director at The OM Shoppe & Spa in Southwest Florida. I have spoken at the International Sound Therapy Association Conference and trained practitioners across three continents.
More importantly: I am still actively in the arena, composing and facilitating every week. This is not a training built by someone who used to practice and now only teaches. It is built by someone who continues to do the work at a high level and who teaches from that living experience.
